I believe that we often times struggle with who we are, and who we can trust. I believe that each individual has to make their own way in this world. Each of us want different things, and just because your friends start to mature and wants to better themselves, does that mean that the two of you will no longer have things in common? I believe so, I comes a day when everyone realizes their potential and their worth. Your friends will leave you to build their relationships with their families, job and/or career, with themselves. In order to have a great friendship, sometimes we have to be proud of those that would like to actually succeed in life. So, basically what I'm saying is that your friend will always remain your friend but there comes a time when your friend will have to chase and follow their own dreams, and sometimes that dream may not have a place for you in it.

That's real talk, I'm going to do me. If that means that I'm not all about chasing some raggedy nigga, and running to every nite club in LA, then by all means...do you. Cuz, I got me! With that said, you might no longer be in my dreams for the future. Just sayin' I'm always gonna keep it 100%

I mean, I damn near cried over this book. Ever since I read 'Riding Temptation' I have became a huge Jaci Burton fan. Her writing skills is tight, I mean she write scenes that even I have to say dammnnnnnnnnnn!

Shadoe Grayson, Department of Justice rookie goes on her first undercover assignment where she will be posing as a headlining stripper at the Wild Rose in New Orleans to identify an DEA agent that's tipping of a Colombian Cartel when the sting operation will be taking place. Shadoe was a woman that felt that she always had to prove herself to men; to let them know that she can handle hers. It all started with her Father (Fucking Asshole) a military man that never wanted a daughter.... and he wouldn't let her forget it. Now she had to prove herself to the guys in the Wild Riders, the secret government agency... and one asshole that she would be working closely.... her partner Spencer. Damn, was she always going to have to show the guys that she was capable to taking care if herself?

Spence King worked for Wild Riders, and pretty much considered them his family. Spence was a real ladies man, he didn't bit his tongue and he called it like he saw it. No if, and's. or but's. Spence was the type of guy that loves you and leaves you, never giving a fuck about you. Spence was the lead for this undercover operation and was pissed when his boss General Grange Lee introduced him to Shadoe Grayson, the DOJ rookie agent posing as headlining stripper. Spence had a doubts about Shadoe being able to go undercover; he knew that she wasn't going to be able to pull this off.... and he had no problem letting her and the other Wild Riders know that she looked more like a school teacher than a stripper. He constantly, let her know that she wasn't going to be able to pull this off, especially since he had his doubts if she even had a body under that school uniform since she walked around like she had a stick shoved up her ass.

Spence watched Shadoe practice, and there was a connection there. he didn't know why or what? But all he knew was that he wanted her......

All I know is that 'Riding on Instinct' is a book that will leave you carving more. This is the 3rd book in the Wild Riders series. This book is a page turner, it was like I couldn't read fast enough. I started this book Sunday Morning and was through Sunday night. When reading this book, all the steamy sex scenes had me wanting to do my dude every time he walked by. Jaci Burton described it so perfect, hell for a minute you thought that Spence was actually sexing you, LOL!

All I can say is ladies make sure that you have on a pantie liner, because you will be getting wet.

The 3 year old son of New York Knicks star Eddy Curry reportedly witnessed the murder of his mother and baby sister at a Chicago apartment yesterday (January 24)

Curry’s ex-girlfriend Nova Henry, 24, was found shot dead along with her 9-month-old daughter, Ava, by Henry's mother at their apartment Saturday evening.

Curry's son was found in the apartment unharmed.

Police said that the killer is a "known acquaintance". Nova Henry filed a restraining order against her boyfriend; but police didn’t say if he has been questioned.

Well as we all know, I am a huge Obama supporter. So today, I ditched work to watch the Inauguration. I knew that this was going to be a very special and memorable day. I am so happy and filled with joy...that I cried tears of happiness all day.

Being a African American woman; and seeing the struggles that my parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, and ancestors endured I was just happy to be apart of this Historic event. Although, I was sadden that I didn't have the funds to attend this Historic event...watching on TV was great enough.

With that being said, we have overcome a milestone of memorable events...good and bad. I thank all the people that was not closed minded; and excepted the fact that the African-American man was the change that we all needed. It just shows that everyone is growing together as a nation; and truthfully I never thought that my children or I will never live to see this day. Being a African-American we are usually looked down on; and to actually see the day when Dr. Martin Luther King's dream has come to reality is a enormous blessing.

So I give all thanks to everyone that believed in Barack Obama; and believed in the Change that was coming.

Yes we can, Yes we did, and Yes we will!!

Marian Anderson was asked to sing tonight, but she only agreed to do it if accompanied by Marvin Gaye, John Lennon and Jimi Hendrix.
Look, there's Harriet Tubman. No one knows how she arrived, but there she is. And my guess is that, when the time comes, no one will see her leave.

There's Jackie Robinson swiftly making his way through the hall as the crowd parts like the Red Sea to the unmistakable sound of applause. "Run, Jackie, run!" Along the way he is embraced by Jesse Owens.

Three beautiful young women arrive with their escorts - Schwerner, Goodman and Chaney. Ms. Viola Liuzzo flew in from Michigan, exclaiming, "I could not miss this." Richard Pryor promised to be on his best behavior. "But I can't make any guarantees for Redd Foxx and Moms Mabley," he chuckled. I spotted Congressman Adam Clayton Powell of Harlem having a lively political discussion with Eldridge Cleaver. Pearl Harbor WWII hero Dorey Miller shared a few thoughts with Crispus Attucks, a hero of the Revolutionary War. And there is Madam C.J. Walker talking with Marcus Garvey about exporting goods to Africa.

Everyone's attention is directed to the dance floor where Bill "Bojangles" Robinson is tap dancing. Right beside him is Sammy Davis Jr., doing his Bojangles routine. And behind his back, Gregory Hines is imitating them both. Applause and laughter abound!

The Hollywood contingent has just arrived from the Coast. Led by filmmaker Oscar Micheaux, Paul Robeson, Canada Lee, and Hattie McDaniel, they find their way to their tables. Dorothy Dandridge, looking exquisite in gold lamé, is seen signaling to her husband, Harold Nicholas, who is standing on the floor with brother Fayard watching Gregory Hines dance. "Hold me back," quips Harold, "before I show that youngster how it's done." Much laughter!

Then a sudden hush comes over the room. The guests of honor have arrived. The President and Mrs. Obama looked out across the enormous ballroom at all the historic faces. Very many smiles, precious few dry eyes. Someone shouted out, "You did it! You did it!"

But 216 years later, The People are taking it back!

Well today is just a funny day, so let me tell you what happened....

....and more so why I am pissed the hell off!

Hell, it all started yesterday, January 15th with this guy at work (Bitch Boy) received chocolate covered fruit (from Edible Arrangements). So me being the nosy one that I am; I figured WTH... especially since one of my homegirls from work was crushing on this fool big-time I would read the card. After I read the card, I kindly walked it over to his desk...to make sure that he received it and all...LMAO!

So from that point on, me and homegirl Wena was joking around with Bitch Boy - Asking him the usual (as far as I was concerned) Who was thinking about you? Who would actually spend their money on you? So when are you going to open it, and you know you gotta give us some... don't be stingy you know other people like those too! But just all fun and games; I mean hell we were literally LOAO...so I know that it wasn't nothing to get offended by.

The thing is this, we all suppose to be cool and we all suppose to kick it. We bring shit here and we offer everyone (because we most defiantly ain't stingy like that fool) but when things are delivered for someone we always joke (but even if we were offered - that will be something that we couldn't except) So this is not the 1st time something like this happened with Bitch Boy....

...we bring cupcakes and other shit here and we share with him although we don't wanna. It's just plain courtesy.

Now let me get to the point why I am mad as hell.... this Bitch nigga goes and holla at my friend and tells her that he was offended (we called him stingy); irritated (we asked him for some of his chocolate covered fruit) and refused to walk in the lobby because we were joking with him. Now this right here is some Biittccccccchhhhhhhhhh SHIT! What man gets mad because some chicks was jokingly calling him selfish??? Please tell me??? Don't NO man (unless they practice BITCHASSNESS) do no puck ass shit like that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So he actually holla'd at my homegirl like she was going to have a heart-felt conversation with us. So she like, what do you want me to do??? Talk to them? (Which is something that I can't believe that she even has the balls to say) but knowing her she did; Then Bitch Boy tells her not to tell us; but he just wanted to let her know that he was pissed and he didn't appreciate us talking to him like that. So me, Wena, and the other chicks that was up here took offense to it. So I had to speak on it and let my friend know that I don't deal with bitches, and THAT NIGGA IS A BITCH!

I have this chick that works the graveyard shift (2x a week)and she's the type that always tries to pick people's mouth to see what they will say. So this morning my homeboy ( he always has my back) lets me know that she was talking shit (once again) about me, oh but let me remind you that I am her supervisor.

Telling him that My Boss, and the VP of Operations always makes comments....

...like she's late again? Do she ever get here on time? And trust me plenty more. Sometimes, I wonder why in the hell did I keep her? More importantly, why in the hell didn't I let my direct boss get rid of her ass a long time ago. Shit like this makes me mad, I can deal with a Real Bitches....but this Bitch is more fake then the wigs she wears on her head, or the fake eyelashes that she's always applying. So at this point, I have nothing to say...
